Role Summary
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care while overseeing unit operations. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC ensures adherence to established nursing protocols and serves as a key resource for staff, enhancing the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care.
- Facilitate admission and discharge processes effectively.
- Work with leadership to drive improvements in patient outcomes and service quality.
- Provide mentorship and training to nursing staff to enhance skills and engagement.
- Assist in staff scheduling and resource allocation.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A valid Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi-State Compact License.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care environment is preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
