Mission Linen Supply is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance on plant equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct morning start-up and evening shutdown procedures for equipment, including the boiler, air compressor, power, pumps, and valves.
- Handle regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels.
- Complete general and basic repairs on machinery, following manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedules and documenting processes.
- Identify and report major repairs needed on machinery.
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of two years of maintenance engineering experience, with specific knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, and plumbing, welding, and boiler applications.
- Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading repair manuals & schematics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
This role requires standing or moving through the plant during the workday, with some stooping, pulling, pushing, and working in cramped areas. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
