General Cardiologist Position in West Virginia

This is an opportunity for a General Cardiologist to step into a practice as a replacement for a retiring physician. The role involves joining a private practice with support from the hospital, which will offer financial assistance.
Practice Details:
- **Type of Practice:** Non-Invasive Cardiology
- **Subspecialty:** 100% of subspecialty within the first year
- **Required Procedures:** ECHO's, EKG's, HOLTER's, and Stress Tests
- **Support:** All primary care and internal medicine will assist the cardiology department.
Work Schedule:
- **Days:** Monday to Friday
- **Hours:** 8 AM to 5 PM
- **Call Schedule:** 6 shifts per month required by bylaws. Only one other cardiologist is on call, covering 6 days per month, with a contract in place for rotation with another facility.
Patient Distribution:
- **Inpatient/Outpatient Ratio:** 70% outpatient, 30% inpatient
- **Census:** Typically 35-40 patients; inpatient consults range from 5-10 per day

- **EMR System:** Athena in clinic, ClinVi
