Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Tennis Instructor to deliver tennis training sessions to participants of diverse ages and skill levels as part of our Health and Wellness Initiative. The Tennis Instructor will be responsible for assessing participants' abilities, ensuring the tennis equipment is well-maintained, and teaching effective game strategies along with promoting good sportsmanship. A professional demeanor is essential at all times.


To excel in this role, the Tennis Instructor should possess a solid understanding of various coaching techniques. Ultimately, an exceptional Tennis Instructor should inspire and motivate participants to enhance their skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Guiding participants in developing and refining their tennis skills.
  • Ensuring adherence to the established rules of the game.
  • Evaluating participants' tennis abilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Organizing and leading both individual and group tennis sessions.
  • Creating tailored training programs for participants based on their age, goals, and skill levels.
  • Recognizing the most effective learning styles for each participant and adjusting coaching methods accordingly.
  • Fostering a safe and productive learning atmosphere for all participants.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Tennis Instructor or Coach.
  • In-depth knowledge of various coaching methodologies.
  • CPR and first aid certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate participants.
  • Eligibility to work legally in the US.
  • A genuine passion for the sport of tennis.
