About the Role

This exceptional opportunity awaits a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maritime Fleet Maintenance Lead to join Global Diving & Salvage, LLC.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our fleet is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of mechanics and maintenance personnel in performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs on company assets.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Assets Manager to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and plans.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their roles effectively.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and within the agreed-upon timeframe.
  • Assist with inventory control and manage spare parts and consumables.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure seamless delivery of goods and services.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in maritime fleet maintenance, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education or certifications in a related field are desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other relevant areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and passport.
  • First Aid, Basic Life Support, CPR, AED, and DAN O2 certification.
  • Current GDS mandatory training and other required programs.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • The estimated salary for this position is $35-$42 per hour.
  • Full-time employees will be offered benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, flexible spending account, short-term disability coverage, and employee assistance program.
