About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to resolve complex issues and improve maintenance processes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance techniques and technologies through ongoing training and education

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
