Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries or illnesses to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess students served in a school environment to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with IEP service recommendations to provide quality service and re-evaluate, programmatic changes, and manage a caseload.
  • Provide guidance and structure to occupational therapy assistants and maintain documentation, including reports of services and weekly schedules to meet therapy goals.
  • Serve on rehabilitation treatment teams, including meetings, conferences, departmental meetings for program development, and establishing a system of operations for team enhancement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Must be licensed OT/L in the state and a member in good standing with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • Must be able to pass a DCFS background check.
  • Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
  • Effective communication skills.
