Position Overview

Nurse Supervisor

Salary Range: $70,000 - $87,150

The Nurse Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating healthcare services in accordance with Federal and State regulations for both Residential and Community Living programs. This role involves direct management of nursing personnel, including responsibilities such as recruitment, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, and termination processes as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

This position ensures adherence to state-mandated standards for Wellness Coordination and ICF/IDD group homes. The Nurse Supervisor is accountable for the medical care of individuals residing in group homes and their own residences, which includes monitoring health needs and ensuring timely follow-ups for medical, dental, visual, and psychiatric appointments related to both general and specific health requirements.

In addition, the Nurse Supervisor will take a leadership role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals in residential and community settings. This includes the development, implementation, and oversight of systems that ensure comprehensive care. It is essential that nursing staff maintain accurate documentation and provide appropriate follow-up on medical orders, communications, test results, and medication management.

Qualifications: Candidates must hold a current R.N. license in the state of Indiana, with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Supervisory experience of at least 1 year is preferred, along with a year of experience working with individuals with I/DD.
