About the Role

Mason Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, perform routine skills and procedures, and ensure the quality of care to residents.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Participate in the development and implementation of resident care plans, maintaining up-to-date nursing care plans and documenting progress.
  • Monitor and Document Resident Health: Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, weights, diet supplements, and replacements, cultures, etc.
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Assist with the orientation and on-going training of staff to ensure required skill levels are maintained.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid LPN License in good standing according to State and Federal requirements.
  • Skills and Abilities: Basic computer skills, knowledge of programs such as Excel and Word, and personal integrity with the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and personnel.
  • Personal Qualities: Passion for caring for people, ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information, and commitment to staying within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA guidelines.
