About the Role

Curana Health is a leading provider of value-based primary care services for the senior living industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team and manage patients in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care throughout the post-acute continuum
  • Assess and manage inpatient census, including coordinating care with attendings, consults, referral sources, and hospital staff
  • Perform physical exams, obtain complete medical history, and record findings
  • Order and administer medication and injections as deemed medically necessary
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding medications, post-admission care, and treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians in managing acute needs of patients
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • ANCC certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • DEA license
  • BLS & ACLS certified
  • Current State license
