Job Overview:
Fort Brewery is on the lookout for a dependable and motivated Beer Logistics Specialist to enhance our operations. This position operates Monday through Friday, starting as early as 6:00am, with hours dependent on the completion of daily tasks. As a Full-Time hourly employee, your primary responsibility will be to transport our exceptional beer products to various destinations within the city. The Delivery Driver will report directly to the Distribution Sales Manager (DSM) and is expected to deliver outstanding customer service during product distribution, draught line upkeep, and merchandising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all delivery aspects to scheduled accounts while complying with all relevant driving and safety regulations.

• Efficiently unload and handle products using appropriate equipment, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace throughout the shift.

• Stock windows, cold boxes, coolers, shelves, and displays in retail locations promptly and effectively as directed by the DSM.

• Rotate products to uphold quality standards.

• Maintain draught lines to ensure product quality.

• Communicate issues and opportunities to the DSM to guarantee customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate effectively with brewery team members to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

• This overview does not encompass all tasks and subtasks that may be necessary for this role or requested by Management, but rather highlights the primary responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the industry.
  • Background in retail or customer service.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move loads up to 100 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in varying temperatures.
  • Requires heavy and repetitive lifting of products.
  • Ability to perform job functions in accordance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the local area is advantageous.
