We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Director to lead our team at Macy's. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer experience, and developing our store's talent.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of People Leaders and Colleagues to achieve sales and customer experience goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
- Coach and develop our store's talent, including People Leaders and Colleagues, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Monitor and analyze sales and customer experience data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Customer Experience, to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and customer service.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft reports and present to management and internal and external business partners.
- Basic math functions, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Exchange.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, with excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate and function as a member of a team.
- Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, and feel.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Requires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
