Job Title: Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager/Senior Project Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at GeorgiaGov. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction projects for state-owned facilities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and state agencies.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
- Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards, including compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and state agencies.
- Provide project status reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Completion of an undergraduate degree from an accredited college and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the construction field as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Quality Assurance Manager.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be capable of traveling statewide to construction sites in various stages of development.
- Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills; excellent customer service, problem resolution, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with highly skilled professionals.
- Must be capable of reading and interpreting contracts and construction drawings and have experience working with Microsoft Office Suites and Project Management/Scheduling Software.
