Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Histologist III to join our team at Dartmouth Health. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing routine tasks and advanced tests, including Immunohistochemistry, DIF, Enzyme Histochemistry, Special Stains, and Nerve Teasing.

Responsibilities
  • Process, embed, and microtome routine specimens efficiently with the highest quality.
  • Perform grossing of specific specimen types if qualified by CLIA regulation.
  • Conduct staining, including routine and special stains, efficiently with the highest quality.
  • Operate and maintain processing and staining equipment.
  • Ensure accurate results by following established quality control practices.
  • Identify and report quality control problems to technical staff.
  • Train in routine areas, including processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining.
Qualifications
  • Three or more years of work experience in a clinical histology laboratory.
  • HT/HTL (ASCP) certification or eligibility.
