Histology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Histologist III to join our team at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality products to aid in diagnosis.

• Perform routine tasks and advanced tests, including Immunohistochemistry, DIF, Enzyme Histochemistry, Special Stains, and Nerve Teasing in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory.
• Ensure accurate results by following established quality control practices and identifying QC problems.
• Train in routine areas, including processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

• Three or more years of work experience in a clinical histology laboratory.
• HT/HTL (ASCP) certification or eligibility.
• Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnician program or equivalent experience.
