About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Windham Senior Living. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals for our residents, team members, and guests.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including traditional comfort food and international cuisine.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to create menus and ensure that all meals are fresh, nutritious, and appealing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety standards.
  • Expedite and serve all meals in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Aid in all kitchen operations as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Culinary School or a minimum of one year experience in full-service kitchen surroundings.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife handling skills.
  • Ability to read and execute a recipe.
  • Food Handler Card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes.
