We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Regional One Health. As a Central Base PRN Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit/area, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Work flexible work schedules within service line in accordance with Float Pool staffing guidelines.
- Initiate assessment based on patient's presenting problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and functional health framework upon admission and patient assignment.
- Collect key information from patient, family, laboratory, and other medical reports.
- Determine nursing diagnosis and priorities for care, with special consideration given to patient teaching, discharge planning, and growth and development needs of the patient.
- Document assessment, including nursing diagnoses or other clinical judgments.
- Perform clinical rounds and complete ongoing assessments according to nursing division policy and/or as determined by patient condition.
- Collaborate with forensic team and security to provide safe environment for patients in custody.
- Complete required continuous training and education, including department-specific requirements.
- Graduate of an approved nursing school/program.
- Qualified by education, training, or experience to work with neonate, infant, toddler, preschooler, school-age, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure licensure to work in state of TN.
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
