Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Regional One Health. As a Unit-Based PRN Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit/area, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Work flexible work schedules within service line in accordance with Float Pool staffing guidelines.
  • Initiate assessment based on patient's presenting problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and functional health framework upon admission and patient assignment.
  • Determine nursing diagnosis and priorities for care, with special consideration given to patient teaching, discharge planning, and growth and development needs of the patient.
  • Document assessment, including nursing diagnoses or other clinical judgments.
  • Perform clinical rounds and complete ongoing assessments according to nursing division policy and/or as determined by patient condition.
  • Re-prioritize care based on new information, continue to update nursing diagnoses, and involve family and/or other significant individuals in assessment activities.
  • Assess, plan, and implement care of assigned patients.
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as ordered by the physician, consistent with primary and population-specific standards of care and practice.
  • Prepare and maintain required records, reports, and files for administrative and compliance purposes.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, safe environment for patients and personnel.
  • Adhere to established policies, compliance/quality improvement, and safety, environment, and infection control standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved nursing school/program.
  • Qualified by education, training, or experience to work with the neonate, infant, toddler, preschooler, school-age, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure licensure to work in state of TN.
  • CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation or BLS upon hire.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse.
