Job Summary

Under the direction of the radiologist, provides computed tomography (CT) services to patients for diagnosis. The ideal candidate will closely follow physician's instructions, appropriately position patients, prepare and operate equipment, and accurately record the images requested.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
  • Prepare and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Record and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation

Requirements

  • Associates degree, bachelors degree, or certificate program in radiologic technology
  • 1 year of radiology experience preferred
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) certification
  • Licensed Radiographer or Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
