Distinctive Healthcare is currently seeking to hire Full Time Computed Tomography Tech to work at the VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA.

 

Responsibilities

Perform duties within the scope of practice determined by didactic and clinical technological
education and registration. ARRT Registered
Review and/or record pertinent patient history and supporting clinical data.
Perform appropriate clinical exams / procedures and obtain Imagesof anatomical, pathological, and/or
physiological data for interpretation by a physician.
Exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Perform daily warm up and assigned quality control checks of the equipment
Receive patients and explain exams / procedures, providing appropriate patient care and communications to
alleviate fear of examination. Correctly position the patient for the examination and make adjustments
necessary for the required examination.

 

Qualifications

Degree: Current ARRT Certification in CT and Basic Life Support certification
Education: Must be a graduate of an approved program in Radiologic Technology and / or Sonography dependent
on the governing body, applicable evidence by a certificate or an Associate
degree from an accredited institution by the JRCERT and certification by the
ARRT / ARDMS
