Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stocking parameters to optimize inventory levels and minimize obsolescence risks.
  • Develop and implement process improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and resolve issues related to existing and new products, ensuring seamless integration with sales teams.
  • Work closely with suppliers to negotiate volume discounts, freight programs, and rebates, aligning purchasing behaviors to optimize cost position.
  • Balance inventory costs with operational costs associated with ordering, handling, and holding inventory.
  • Interact with customers to ensure all requirements are met, fostering strong relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, minimizing risks to the company.
  • Act as a mentor to develop and prepare direct reports for additional responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in required software programs.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with supply chain concepts, practices, and procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management roles.

Work Environment:

  • Employee is regularly required to speak and hear English, stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds.

PPE Required:

  • Wrist rests for keyboard and mouse pad.
