Position Title: Metal Fabrication Specialist

Reports To: Welding Lead

Supervises: N/A

Employment Status: Full-time

Work Schedule: 6am – 3pm

Starting Wage: $18.00/hr

Role Overview:
We are in search of a skilled professional experienced in MIG welding of linear and pipe materials to fabricate Miura boilers. Candidates should be adept in operating plasma cutters and torches, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement. Successful applicants must complete a 2G ASME weld test prior to employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation for Welding: Utilize tools such as grinders, pipe rotators, and band saws
• Welding Operations: Conduct daily MIG pipe welding, plasma cutting, and torch operations
• General Knowledge: Setup of equipment, fabrication processes, and maintenance
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand manuals, design specifications, and weld symbols
• Equipment Handling: Operate Overhead Cranes and jib hoists proficiently
• Communication: Exhibit effective organizational and communication skills

Position Requirements:

• Successful Completion of 2G ASME weld test
• Ability to read and interpret design specifications and blueprints
• Understanding of weld symbols and their application
• Proficient in using essential welding and fabrication tools
• Capability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with appropriate PPE
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• High School Diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements:

• Engagement in standing, walking, and driving tasks
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and climb as necessary
• Visual acuity for close and distance tasks
• Proficiency in keyboarding and repetitive motion activities
• Capability to read and interpret instructions accurately
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential
• Proficiency in English language and grammar
