Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Welcome patients and escort them from the waiting area to the clinical setting, performing essential intake procedures, including documenting vital signs, current medications, and allergies.
  2. Accurately transcribe and update patient information in their medical records, including demographic and medical history.
  3. Handle clerical tasks related to patient care, such as preparing patient charts and completing necessary paperwork.
  4. Maintain compliance with EMR Orders Reconciliation processes as assigned.
  5. Ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of the examination area after each patient visit.
  6. Assist patients in preparing for their appointments, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available for the healthcare provider.
  7. Conduct in-office tests as directed and coordinate any necessary external services.
  8. Collect and process specimens as instructed, ensuring accurate logging of results.
  9. Manage inventory and upkeep of medical supplies and equipment, maintaining appropriate logs.
  10. Provide training and guidance to new team members regarding procedures and best practices.
  11. Participate in audits and maintain practice-based competencies for any applicable in-office procedures.
  12. Engage with patients and colleagues in a manner that reflects our commitment to service excellence.
  13. Fulfill all compliance responsibilities associated with the role.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED. You should be a recent graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Nursing Assistant training, or hold EMT certification, or have three years of relevant experience in a medical office setting. A solid understanding of medical terminology and the ability to accurately obtain vital signs are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPR certification is preferred. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
