  • Support technical planning, system integration, field verification/validation, and alternative evaluations.
  • Document processes related to embedded systems design, delivery, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams to guarantee successful outcomes based on project specifications.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in embedded hardware and/or software development.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance, with potential for TS/SCI clearance.
  • Proficient in Digital Logic Design and simulation for FPGAs.
  • Experience in software development for microcontrollers or embedded processing platforms (e.g., ARM).
  • Strong grasp of embedded firmware and software principles, development processes, and documentation standards.
  • Expertise in Hardware Definition Language (preferably Verilog).
  • Proficient in the C programming language.
  • Ability to assess technical trade-offs effectively.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt across various domains with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with:
    • Machine Learning
    • Digital Signal Processing
    • Software Defined Radios
    • SATCOM
    • Geolocation
    • SATCOM EMI detection and classification
  • Experience in developing, integrating, and testing on SoC, MPSoC, or RFSoC architectures.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Proficient in programming languages and tools such as Python, C++, TCL, Linux, Vitis, or Vivado.
  • Understanding of Scrum and/or Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, and project management tools like Jira.
  • Expertise in integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex systems.
