Aerotek is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Assembly Worker at a competitive hourly rate.

Position Overview:

As an Assembly Worker, you will be responsible for the installation of mechanical and electrical components on various machine tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assemble a range of parts and sub-assemblies as part of the manufacturing workflow.
2. Interpret and follow assembly blueprints for new machinery and components.
3. Ensure all necessary parts for complete assembly are available at the designated assembly area.
4. Align, adjust, and modify sheet metal components to guarantee proper fit on machines.
5. Install electrical components and parts specific to various machines.
6. Conduct visual inspections of machines for quality assurance, reporting any defects to supervisors.
7. Operate cranes for lifting and installing heavy components, such as hydraulic pumps and transformers.
8. Utilize walk-behind forklifts for transporting parts.
9. Employ various hand tools, including drills and grinders, for part installation.
10. Complete required check sheets and maintain an organized workspace.
11. Assist in training new employees as necessary.
