Job Title: Caregiver Lead

Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services, and we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Lead to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Caregiver Lead will be responsible for providing supervisory support to our care team, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality care and services. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervisory support to care team members, including attendance management, call-off management, and shift requests.
  • Support team members in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services to residents, including bathing, grooming, and personal care.
  • Encourage resident participation in life enrichment programming and ADLs.
  • Assist with meal service in the dining room and coach team members on hospitality standards.
  • Accurately document care and services provided to residents and review care manager documentation throughout the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with Sunrise's Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies.
  • Display flexibility in work schedule and work holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED strongly preferred and may be required per state regulations.
  • Ability to read, write, communicate effectively with care managers, community managers, residents, and family members.
  • In states where applicable, must maintain applicable certifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Medication Management Certificate required; ongoing training and re-education per Sunrise and state requirements.
  • Previous experience working with seniors and a desire to serve and care for seniors.
  • Demonstrates leadership competencies, including delegation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
