As an integral member of our operating room staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

We are a state-of-the-art surgery center located just north of San Antonio, with three fully equipped operating rooms and two treatment rooms. Our experienced team performs a wide range of outpatient surgical procedures, including gastroenterology, general, and orthopedic surgeries. We are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and strive to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

**Job Summary:**

The Surgical Technologist is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care services under the supervision of a professional nurse. This includes preparing patients for surgery, maintaining asepsis, and assisting surgeons during procedures. You will also be responsible for monitoring par levels of surgical supplies, maintaining the proper functioning of surgical instruments, and cleaning and sterilizing equipment.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Scrub Technician Program
  • CST certification
  • At least two years of experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • General familiarity with medical terminology related to anatomy and surgical procedures

**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
