A reputable facility just west of the greater San Antonio area is actively seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join their outstanding team The candidate with recent vascular and/or interventional radiology experience will be welcomed to the opportunity.

Located in the beautiful Texas hill country, this hospital offers a range of medical services to patients in the surrounding communities, including: advanced cardiac cath lab services, 24-hour emergency care, radiology and diagnostic imaging services, inpatient intensive care and medical surgical care, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, physical and occupational therapy, women’s health services, and more. This growing healthcare facility has been newly renovated and refurbished, and houses 100+ inpatient beds. The hospital continually receives awards for its excellence in care, and is also on the journey to Magnet status.

The Cath Lab Technologist will report directly to the Heart and Vascular Services Director, providing individualized care to all patients in the cardiac cath lab. Responsibilities include: ensuring proper functioning of all X-ray equipment, scrubbing in to assist the physician with angiographic procedures, and providing safe and effective monitoring of all cath lab patients. The Cath Lab Tech will provide care in accordance with all regulating agencies and will work as a collaborative member of the cardiac catheterization lab team.

Requirements for this role include:

  • BS in Radiologic Technology or BSN
  • ARRT with RCIS or CI Certification
  • 1+ years of cardiac cath lab experience
