Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Hamilton-Ryker. This role is essential for overseeing the financial operations within our manufacturing facility.

Job Type:
Full-time

Work Schedule:
This position operates on a hybrid schedule, with two days working remotely and three days in the office. Flexibility in start and end times is available, with a requirement to start no later than 8:30 AM. Attendance at a weekly staff meeting is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, ensuring all daily tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and present financial results across various departments.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of monthly account reconciliations and financial statements.
  • Collaborate with operations and accounting teams to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and assist in financial analysis as needed.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance reporting and data analysis efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Smart View, Snowflake, Power BI, and Alteryx is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
