Purpose of Role: This position is essential for addressing franchise system administration requirements and supporting the upcoming product launches. The focus will be on troubleshooting existing system architecture issues that will remain until a new system is implemented.

Compensation: $30 to $34 per hour

KEY FUNCTIONS:

The Integration Systems Specialist will oversee and manage all activities related to the assimilation of franchise data and systems into the organization's information structures. This role involves planning and coordinating processes necessary for user applications and systems that facilitate integrated operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and manage the integration of new applications into the existing network infrastructure and software.
  • Support capacity planning and the establishment of long-term strategic objectives for systems and software in collaboration with end-users and department heads.
  • Ensure that new software integrations comply with functional requirements, data privacy, and other specifications.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of current systems and develop strategies for enhancement.
  • Research and recommend hardware, software, and integration products to support procurement and development initiatives.
  • Evaluate and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Analyze technical specifications of new applications to determine functionality.
  • Address incoming support tickets and assist users in resolving application and software issues.
  • Enhance business processes through effective integration while minimizing disruptions.
  • Interpret data and provide ongoing analytical reports.
  • Assess the efficiency of existing systems and implement improvement strategies.
  • Conduct thorough testing of modified and new systems.
  • Communicate issues and application problems to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor system performance and maintain necessary log files.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in systems integration.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of current network standards.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and database administration.
  • Experience with relational database servers.
  • Solid understanding of system testing and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in report writing and data presentation.
  • Knowledge of IT operations best practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with optical systems (AcuityLogic and VisionWeb).
  • Familiarity with franchise operations.
