About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Analyst in the Americas Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking numerical analyses using first-principles methods to solve our clients' most difficult challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and report linear and non-linear, static and dynamic analysis in either fluid dynamics or structures.
  • Collaborate with other structural engineers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and risk consultants on innovative buildings and infrastructure projects.
  • Work on defined tasks under the close supervision of a senior engineer.
  • Analysis, design, and communication of results to clients both internal and external to Arup.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Architectural engineering, or similar related field.
  • Fundamental knowledge of structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, as appropriate.
  • Understanding of computer programming and statistics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cover letter included in application submission.
  • Experience with FEA and/or CFD software.
  • Experience in web or app development.
  • Coursework in data science.
