Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Head Varsity Football Coach to lead our high school football program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing competitive teams and fostering a positive team culture that promotes academic success, personal growth, and athletic excellence.

About the Opportunity: As the Head Varsity Football Coach, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of student-athletes, while contributing to the success of Princeton Community High School. You will work closely with the school administration, faculty, and staff to promote the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.

Responsibilities: The Head Varsity Football Coach will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies, plays, and techniques to build a competitive team
  • Creating and managing game schedules and travel arrangements
  • Mentoring and collaborating with assistant coaches to ensure program success
  • Promoting the program within the school and broader community to encourage participation and support
  • Ensuring safety protocols and emergency procedures are in place and followed during practices and games

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must have previous coaching experience at the high school varsity level or higher, with demonstrated success in developing competitive teams. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential, as well as a strong understanding of coaching principles, techniques, and football strategy.

Compensation Package: The compensation package includes an extra-curricular stipend of $7,922.13, which may increase to $8,160 if eligible for TRF contributions. ReNEW Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
