Key Responsibilities

The Residential Cleaning Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring a hygienic and secure environment for both residents and staff by executing designated cleaning tasks across living spaces, communal areas, and amenities.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public and communal spaces as well as individual apartments.
  • Distribute freshly laundered items and linens.
  • Change bed linens regularly.
  • Sanitize public restrooms and replenish supplies as necessary.
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish various floor surfaces.
  • Clean carpets, rugs, upholstered furniture, and drapes.
  • Dust and wipe down furniture and equipment.
  • Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Wash, dry, and iron resident laundry and community linens.
  • Properly fold and/or hang laundered items.
  • Maintain cleanliness in resident laundry facilities.
  • Clean windows at accessible heights throughout the community as requested.
  • Keep utility and storage areas organized and tidy.
  • Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.
  • Stock cleaning carts with necessary supplies.
  • Empty waste receptacles and transport waste to disposal locations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to ensure trash and dumpster areas are kept clean.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks as required.
  • Promptly report resident concerns or changes in health or living conditions.
  • Notify Supervisor of any potentially hazardous conditions or maintenance issues immediately.
  • May undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Successful completion of all Atria specified training programs is required.
  • Proficient in operating cleaning equipment such as irons, washers & dryers, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
  • Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination documentation upon hire.
