About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager (Technical) to join our Amazon Global Procurement Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for envisioning, defining, and delivering Amazon's complex end-to-end Indirect Supply Chain technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support various business groups within the Amazon Global Procurement Organization, converting requests into value-justified initiatives, well-researched solution recommendations, product charters, and roadmaps.
  • Partner with business sponsors and stakeholders to identify clear and measurable paths to value for products feature-sets, to drive clear decisions about which technology investments the organization will prioritize.
  • Apply a structured change management approach to roadmap changes and new product opportunities to effectively meet customer needs and maintain transparency.
  • Operate as a single-threaded-leader of the products within the PM-T's portfolio, taking responsibility for creatively delivering results through partnerships, vision, and product leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with software feature prioritization and negotiating trade-off decisions
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions about technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing a portfolio of technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, PowerPivot, or QuickSight
  • Experience building and driving adoption of new tools and business workflows

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
