Role Importance
As the initial point of contact at VCA, the Customer Care Specialist establishes the atmosphere of the practice, fostering trust and confidence among our clientele.

The Customer Care Specialist plays a crucial role in the hospital's daily operations, responsible for:

  • Customer Service Responsibilities:
    Welcoming visitors, managing phone inquiries, and escorting clients and their pets to examination areas.
  • Coordinating and confirming appointments.
  • Conducting follow-up calls and reaching out to potential clients.
  • Communicating and clarifying fees, including handling payment transactions.
  • Advising, selecting, and procuring products and services, including medications.

Addressing inquiries about products and services, including providing guidance on general pet care and non-medical aspects (such as heartworm prevention, house training, and flea & tick management).

Overseeing medical documentation, records, reports, and correspondence.

Facility Maintenance:
Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the hospital environment, including the removal of waste, and maintaining a tidy facility both inside and out.
