Heavy Equipment Operator

Cascade Remediation Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Medford, NJ.
Job Summary:The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers, rollers, graders, pavers, skid steers, and other pieces of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a keen sense of situational awareness, and a strong work ethic.
Essential Functions:- Operate heavy equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations.
- Ensure proper care of equipment while in use.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of all equipment prior to operation and perform regular checks on the functionality of fleet equipment.
- Document regular maintenance checks to maintain adequate records of equipment performance.
- Promote workplace safety and environmental practices and followed designated safety practices while operating equipment.
- Provide preventative maintenance, as needed, to ensure equipment is safe and operating properly.
- Conduct minor repairs on equipment issues, as needed, and report larger repairs or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- CDL license strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience operating heavy equipment.
- Valid OSHA-40 training.
- Keen attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Strong work ethic and the physical ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Ability to provide professional work references.
