Artificial Intelligence Policy Specialist

As a seasoned government relations professional, we seek an experienced advocate to support our mission across artificial intelligence, intellectual property, privacy, online trust and safety, competition, trade, telecommunications, and content moderation policy portfolios. Reporting to the Vice President, Federal Affairs, the Deputy Government Affairs Lead will work collaboratively with CCIAs U.S. policy teams to achieve policy goals on behalf of member companies.

The ideal candidate will track federal legislation across policy portfolios, identifying areas of concern, relaying developments to CCIA members, and drafting written deliverables in response. They will also coordinate external advocacy and campaign efforts, including coalition building, outreach programs, and legislative initiatives in furtherance of CCIA policy objectives.

With excellent oral and written communication skills, the successful candidate will translate complex issues into simple explanations. Adept interpersonal, political, analytical, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, to support your growth and development as a policy expert.
