Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Traumatic Brain Injury Provider to join our team at Matrix Providers Inc. as a Psychiatrist, Neurologist, or Physiatrist PM&R.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) cases.
  • Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide veterans with compensation and pension exams.
  • Capture responses during the exam through web-based examination form(s); all documentation will be completed electronically.
  • Send completed exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or Neurology, with experience in evaluating for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
  • Primary care experience is required.
  • Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted license in the specialty field of M.D. or D.O.
  • Have or obtain an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Work Environment:

  • This position is a mix of TELEHEALTH & TRAVEL.
  • Up to 5 days per week (2 travel days and the rest, telehealth days).

Compensation:

  • This is an hourly position, paid bi-weekly.
