Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Housing Specialist to join our Outreach team in Tacoma. As a key member of our team, you will work with the community to develop housing resources for individuals referred to the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide case management with an emphasis on enhancing access to and retention in permanent supported housing.
  • Develop strong landlord relationships to support on-going housing and connection to community resources.
  • Assist team members in working with participants to find and maintain the type of housing they desire.
  • Coordinate services with other mental health and allied providers.
  • Maintain clinical records.
  • Be available for consult and crisis outreach as appropriate or needed.
Requirements
  • Must have experience with housing and knowledge of local Pierce County resources.
  • Must have ability to obtain Agency Affiliation Credential from Department of Health.
  • Must have computer/technology skills.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, work independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
