Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Intern Grad to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers, including medication management and health awareness.
  • Ensure the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
  • Support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy and assist the pharmacy manager in identifying ways to optimize pharmacy financials and inventory management.
  • Engage with customers and patients, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Develop strong relationships with local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date.
  • Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
