The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and Guest-focused Lottery Cashier to join our team. As a Lottery Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring that every Guest has a delightful experience at our locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet Guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
  • Ensure that all Guests are delighted with their experience, whether playing lottery, dining in, or purchasing tobacco or alcohol products.
  • Process transactions for lottery, food, tobacco, and alcohol purchases.
  • Follow Jasper's cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all alcohol service and tobacco sales are within both Jasper's and City/State/Federal regulations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the location, including all Guest and Team member accessible areas.
  • Perform inventory counts, including cash, lottery products, and tobacco items.
  • Ensure that video lottery machines, tables, and seats are wiped down between each Guest.
  • Give a warm farewell and invite Guests to return.
  • Balance cash and lottery products at end of shift.
  • May assist in training new Team Members.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly skilled and Guest-focused individual who has:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location and the Guests who typically visit.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and complete computer data entry.
  • Ability to obtain valid Food Handler's Card and Alcohol Service Permit (OLCC).
  • Previous customer service experience and cash handling experience is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate and work with a variety of people and personalities in a positive manner.
  • Guest-sensitive and possess a sense of timing and be able to multi-task so Guest needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
