Job Summary

DBM Global Inc is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding a variety of materials using FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, and SAW processes. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, utilizing your expertise to fabricate complex structures and bridges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld structural, bridge, and industrial materials, including plates, sheets, girders, and tanks.
  • Follow applicable welding procedures (AWS, AISC) and maintain a high level of workmanship.
  • Perform gouging and scarfing as needed, and transport material by crane as required.
  • Keep work area organized and clean, and adhere to all safety rules and PPE requirements.
  • Pass required weld tests and maintain certification in AWS D1.1.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and/or 12 months of stable work experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
  • Reasoning ability, including the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
  • Certification in AWS D1.1 weld test.
