Patient Service Coordinator

The Patient Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for their clinic visit, including scheduling, insurance verification, and collecting fees at the time of service. You will also be responsible for accurate documentation in our practice management system, answering patient questions, and managing the waiting room. Your exceptional customer service skills and ability to multitask will make you an asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities- Patient registration, scheduling, and data entry
- Educating patients regarding benefits and collecting patient payments
- Complete and accurate management of patient data in our practice management system
- Verify health insurances and obtain referrals
- Organize and maintain medical records
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks, including scheduling, transportation, filing, and faxing
- Exceptional customer experience skills
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Drive for results and focus on efficiency
- Teamwork and ability to establish strong working relationships
- Continues learning and improvement
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Typical Physical DemandsSitting, standing, bending, reaching, stooping, walking, and lifting. Ability to see, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks. Driving independently to other facilities.
