Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to join our educational team in Anaheim, California. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services to enhance the academic and emotional development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments

Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify students' learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Develop and Implement IEPs

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring special education services.

Provide Counseling Services

Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address students' academic, emotional, and social issues.

Consult with Educators and Parents

Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective strategies and interventions.

Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and plan interventions.

Crisis Intervention and Support

Offer crisis intervention and support during emergency situations as needed.

Training and Workshops

Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff, parents, and students on mental health, behavior management, and effective learning strategies.

Stay Current with Research and Best Practices

Stay informed about current research and best practices in school psychology to apply in daily practice.

Qualifications
  • Education and Credentials

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.

Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology.

Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist in California.

Experience and Skills

Preferably two years of experience in a school setting.

Proficiency in psychological assessment and intervention techniques.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Successful completion of a background check and fingerprint clearance.

CPR and First Aid Certification
