Automotive Paint Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Paint Specialist to join our team at Morgan Truck Body. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for painting and preparing trucks to customer specifications at a high level of skill and quality.
The JobThis is a full-time position working on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience with paint tools and be able to read and interpret blueprints and work orders. You will also be responsible for setting up and performing preventative maintenance on tools and machines as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Paint all types of vehicles including full bodies, chassis and cabs, trailers and tractors.
- Operate various paint equipment including cup guns, pressure pots and plural systems.
- Responsible for spraying all colors as determined by work order/customer.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Set up and perform preventative maintenance on tools and machines as necessary.
- Basic math, tape measurement and computer skills.
- Basic experience with paint tools.
- Able to understand and comprehend measurement.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints for special applications.
- Previous experience in manufacturing.
- Previous experience working on truck bodies.
