About the Role:The successful candidate will provide accessible, comprehensive, and patient-centered pediatric primary care services to children and adolescents at the CCCA. This includes health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Perform wound care and interpret diagnostic tests accurately.
- Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education on wellness and disease prevention.
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families, fostering trust and effective communication.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, seizures, neurodiversity, hypertension, asthma, and heart disease in pediatric patients through comprehensive care plans and patient education.
- Licensure by State Boards of Nursing and Medicine.
- Completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Veteran and veteran spouse.
