Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LNA/Mental Health Technician to join our Nurse Resources Team. As a member of our team, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in various departments throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Assist with patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote patient well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered care goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation program.
  • Registered as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of Vermont.
  • Minimum one year of LNA experience, with acute care experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic nursing care skills and manage aggressive behaviors.
