This position is part of the Chemistry division located in Loveland, Colorado and requires onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovate new chemical analytical methods for Hach instrumentation to support research initiatives.
- Exhibit proficiency in a variety of analytical techniques, methodologies, chemical concepts, and laboratory practices during the development of new analytical products.
- Create formulations and quality assurance protocols for testing reagents while collaborating closely with operations teams to ensure manufacturability.
Education:
- Chemist I: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- Chemist II: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience OR a Master’s degree in chemistry.
- Chemist I: Solid grasp of chemical principles; analytical laboratory techniques, practices, and procedures; strong analytical capabilities.
- Chemist II: Proven independent contributions to planning, experimental design, and laboratory results.
- Established laboratory experience beyond academic coursework.
- Demonstrated expertise in chemical characterization and problem-solving.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

US ONLY:
The compensation range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000.00 USD annually, and this position is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan for eligible employees.
Note: Compensation is not considered earned until it is vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation remain at the Company's discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's discretion, in accordance with the law.
