Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Medical Center of the Rockies Main Hosp. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care, delivering and assessing response to ordered therapy per plan of care. You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, and evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
  • Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance.
  • Educate the patient and family about the patient's illness and provide information about community resources.

Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist - Nat'l.
  • Respiratory Therapist-State
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
  • PALS & ACLS within 1 year of hire; NRP within 6 mos of hire.
