Medical Assistant Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at The Allergy Clinic in Houston. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to our medical staff, ensuring seamless operations and efficient communication with patients.
- Conduct intake and triage of complex patients, including taking vital signs, documenting chief complaints, and updating medical histories.
- Assist with medication prior authorizations, including biologics and immune replacement products, and administer IM and SQ injections as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, utilizing strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
